Fed: NT election swing a message to all fgovernments - Iemma

NSW Premier MORRIS IEMMA says the swing against Labor in the Northern Territory election
is NOT a direct backlash against the federal Labor government.

Prime Minister KEVIN RUDD says the swing against the territory government at Saturday's
poll sounds a warning to federal Labor.

But Mr IEMMA says it's a warning for all governments across Australia that they must
deliver results for their electorate.

He says the warning also applies to councillors in NSW ahead of local government elections
in September.
